A modest finale. Mercury Bay has fast ground for the first time since finishing second at Hereford last August. Royal Chatelier had been knocking on the door prior to a disappointing run at Ffos Las in January but looks high enough in the weights now, while Mudita Moment hasn't raced since failing to justify favouritism at Wetherby in October. MANADAM doesn't have much scope but the same can be said for pretty much everything in the race and February's Towcester winner will at least handle the ground and trip. He gets the nod.
