Verdict

Wild West Wind fell in last year's Welsh National having won this trial before that when beating ALFIE SPINNER. The latter went on to finish runner-up in the Welsh National and can turn the tables with Wild West Wind on more favourable terms today having undergone wind surgery subsequently. Ballycross beat the selection at Ffos Las in April and has claims on that form while Another Venture has won over these fences before and is another to consider on his reappearance. Duke Des Champs is back on a winning mark and Ramses De Teillee can be given a chance with a recent run under his belt on his second outing after a wind operation.
