Maguire's Glen switched stables after winning at Clonmel last month and may need time to acclimatise. BREDON HILL LAD only beat two rivals at Fontwell but is only 3lb higher here and Lucy Gardner’s claim takes care of that. Gold Mountain, placed twice at Taunton, tries this trip for the first time but shouldn’t be far away and Tolkeins Tango still had a chance when unseating his rider at Taunton. Irish Thistle won off a much higher mark at Sandown around this time last year but has been looking very one-paced lately.
