Verdict
Capdalight was raised 10lb after gaining his first success over hurdles on good ground at Ffos Las. He couldn't cope with the drop in trip and faster going at Newton Abbot and could now be a few pounds high. The four-year-old Kapdor ran well for a long way on his handicap debut over 3m at Ffos Las and has some scope while Royal Chatelier will enjoy the test of stamina, though he needed his comeback run last season. Arctic Flow reappeared to score at Plumpton in January and won there again a month later but has shot up the weights as a consequence and Southway Star is untested in the conditions. KATEAL has a very long absence to overcome but looked a fair prospect when landing a novices' event at Taunton in April last year and looks capable of scoring from this mark.
