Verdict

NOBLE SAVAGE placed at Lingfield and Wincanton in the autumn. His latest fourth at the latter track wasn’t a bad effort in context and Finn Lambert takes off 7lb. Methusalar is nothing special but largely consistent, though hasn’t run since November. Walkinthewoods would have claims on his second at Ffos Las in February while a wind operation may have improved Heron Creek, who makes his handicap debut off a plater’s mark.
