SUPER DIRECTA had been threatening to get his head in front before running his rivals ragged in a maiden hurdle at Folkestone last time. There should be more to come over this longer trip and Lucy Wadham's gelding is difficult to oppose in this company. Plumpton winner Hazy Dawn could prove the biggest threat to the selection and better is expected from Thomas Wild on only his third start over timber. Brannock and Deejan also have place claims, but Chesil Beach Boy is making his hurdling debut today on his return from a lengthy absence.
