    Verdict

Southern Exit sets the standard whilst it wouldn't surprise to see Shali San win this but a chance is taken with Tara Whale. The selection is out of a winning pointer and by Kayf Tara who is quickly establishing himself as a leading jumps sire. His small yard are capable of getting winners in this sphere and he takes the eye on paper. Southern Exit has done precious little wrong and should be in the mix once more but is clearly vulnerable to a decent newcomer. Shali San represents a top yard and it would be no surprise if this French bred filly, who looks the part on paper, proved to be a cut above her rivals. Better can also be expected from Definitely It whose debut was not devoid of promise but Tara Whale gets our vote.
