Be My Manager (IRE) An impressive C&D winner back in January, has not run since but likely to have matured in the interim; should go well but may need the run.
Korakor (FR) Has been disappointing since coming over from France until mending his ways when an easy winner at Ayr. If this is a return to form and not a one off then must have every chance today.
Monty's Pass (IRE) Having his first run out of Ireland, 5.5L beaten by Foxchapel King at Limerick last time; Has won 5 Handicap chases and must be respected.
Hurricane Lamp A winner over this trip at Warwick in May, looks to be his maximum trip and previous wins have all been over 2m. Useful sort off a sensible mark today.
Flaxley Wood Difficult to assess his form but ran one of his best races here when running third to Young Spartacus out of the Handicap; a bit unreliable and has not run since Feb.
Destiny Calls Has not run for over a year where he was a winner at Uttoxeter. Best watched on his return but others preferred.
Capitaine Leau (FR) Pulled Up in good company last season, but still disappointing (might be down to breathing problems), obviously has ability because won here easily last year.
Shooting Light (IRE) Ran well last season in very good company but lost his form a bit including when beaten 38L by Be My Manager. Off a better mark today and cannot be dismissed on his first run for new trainer.
Native Wit (IRE) Since winning the EBF final in March 2000 she has struggled to regain her form (did go up 13lbs). The ground was also against her last season. Having her first run for new trainer and if she can reproduce her form of old, she must be respected.
Mont Aca (FR) A winner penultimate start over a shorter trip in the soft, looks to prefer the softer ground and was let down by jumping when BF last time..
King of Sparta Showed a return to form when finishing in front of Hurricane Lamp last time. Still off a good mark today; cannot be ignored.
Gulshan Beaten 7L by Redemption last time. She will like the ground today and is off a good mark; should be thereabouts.
Dulas Bay Shaping up to be good in January last year then took a Fall which has obviously knocked his confidence; is better than his latest form and Handicap mark suggests.
