There is little to split last year's 1-2 in this race and Twisted Logic meets Rockcliffe Gossip on almost the same terms this time around. Both come into the race in good form and everything looks set for another thriller. The former is on the same mark of 121 as when he won the battle for the honours last season and will be primed for the outing after making a satisfactory reappearance at Chepstow at the start of the month. He is however, prone to the odd off day and is not one to trust implicitly. Rockcliffe Gossip was virtually handed the race when he scored at Bangor last time and will again need luck on his side. Any softening of the ground will be a big help to him though - and he does hold Free To Run on recent form. The search for value however, throws up a different option and a chance is taken that Polly Gundry can get the best out of Un Jour A Vassy. Last season's top lady rider in point-to-points gets on well with the Paul Nicholls-trained seven-year-old and the partnership are taken by TEAMtalk to register another victory for the Ditcheat trainer.
