Mrs Be, General Claremont and Paddy For Paddy look the three main contenders to look out for with the vote going to the last named. Paddy For Paddy is trained by former jump jockey Guy Landau and with only two runs so far this year looked a fresh horse when scoring first time out at Folkestone. He has to be fresh and lost nothing in defeat when second at Towcester on his latest run and has been kept fresh with this race in mind. He has won over three miles six furlongs so will stay and looks set to beat his rivals. Mrs Be is yet to score under rules but has won between the flags this season. The fact that this mare finishes second more often than not means she cannot be relied upon but a place position will surely be hers. General Claremonts last win came over this trip in May of last year at Fokestone. He has the class to win but enthusiasm can be a problem so for the winner we return to Paddy for Paddy.
