Cucklington came to hand early last season and was also in good form in the spring. He’s still at the right end of the handicap and has an experienced amateur on board in Mikey Legg. Vinegar Hill had a pipe-opener over hurdles at Uttoxeter and is only 4lb higher than when scoring at Market Rasen last November. Calin Du Brizais has placed twice under Kieran Buckley this year but has been raised in the weights for finishing third at Newton Abbot. CORNISH WARRIOR stepped up to 3m at Southwell and beat an in-form rivals. He’s gone up 5lb and has further still to cover here but the presence of Sam Waley-Cohen in the saddle suggests a degree of confidence. Irish challenger Oighear Dubh could make the frame again while Uttoxeter winner Another Frontier appears to hold Dotties Dilema on the form book. Sam Red and Asking Questions are also worthy of consideration.
