PAISLEY PARK was on a four-timer when winning this by 12 lengths last year before beating a high-class field the Stayers' Hurdle at the festival. He had to work hard to beat Thistlecrack in a Grade 2 at Newbury in November but that should have brought him to somewhere near his peak and he'll take the world of beating. If The Cap Fits is already the winner of eight of his dozen races with the highlight coming in the Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree where he beat the classy mares Roksana and Apple's Jade in a driving finish. He will have found 2m3f too short in the Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle in November but had enough in hand to beat some smart rivals. Summerville Boy, a Grade 1 winner at 2m, had Roksana 2l behind with William Henry a similar distance away in third when landing the Relkeel over 2m4f here on New Year's Day. The latter, last year's Coral Cup winner, may come out best here though his stable is also represented by L'Ami Serge, who was having his first start since May when runner-up to The World's End in the Long Walk on heavy going. Tobefair has had his last four starts on the track and been in excellent form though this is a big step-up in grade.
