Verdict

Ahead of The Curve usually runs his race but has been raised a further 10lb after finishing second at Perth while Seymour Star beat Coole Cody at Hereford in March and the latter went on to land a double at Newton Abbot in September. Red Indian, Diable De Sivola, Stamp Your Feet and Coup De Pinceau all finished second on their respective reappearances while Vivas found only one too good over these hurdles last time when The Mighty Don was well beaten but Richard Johnson takes over the reins on the latter today. MISCHIEVOUS MAX has been thereabouts since winning a maiden hurdle and was second to the subsequent Grade 3 winner Just Janice in a novice hurdle at Galway last time. Joseph O’Brien’s charge should go well on the strength of that form and gets the nod back in a handicap today.
