In depth

Verdict

Only five runners here but a fascinating event in prospect for this good prize. With most of the principals having shown a distinct preference for soft ground it may pay to look to Silver Streak who has shown good form on decent ground. Outclassed but never going well at the Festival in March, Silver Streak is better judged ion his previous defeat of Gola Cher and must have a serious chance of overturning better fancied rivals Montayral and Roberty Bob both of whom could find the ground a bit too lively. Lanmire Tower represents a stable in form but is likely to be ill at ease on the surface whilst Braeburn looks to have too much to do in this company.
