Verdict

Nicky Henderson always has a strong hand in this and Tanks For That, the choice of Barry Geraghty and runner-up to Woolcombe Folly here in December, could prove the pick over the improving Anquetta. Pepe Simo finished last in a three-runner race at Sandown last month but is much better than that and isn't badly treated while the 2009 winner Oh Crick has been given a chance by the handicapper after a couple of moderate efforts and is reported in good form by his trainer. Shoreacres is progressing at a rate of knots and with AP McCoy on board will attract plenty of support. Brendan Powell's charge has run well over timber here in the past and though his inexperience may count against him he should get involved at the business end. Ferdy Murphy has already had his usual Festival success and De Boitron, a winner here last April, will have been given a typical preparation for this by his astute handler and looks a big threat but it's I'MSINGINGTHEBLUES who gets the vote. David Pipe's classy performer has somehow managed to find himself 10lb lower than when last in a handicap when falling while still in with a shout in a Grade 2 won by Monet's Garden at Aintree in October and looks remarkably well treated.
