Double Treasure was a decent chaser around this time last year but he’s shown himself to be equally adept over hurdles lately, finishing second in the Grade 2 Persian War at Chepstow last month when returning from a break. COOLANLY started favourite for that race but stepped at the fourth and paid the price. He’s clearly well thought of and can gain compensation here with a clear round. Percy Veer won a Listed race at Limerick last month but then disappointed at Cork. Pym failed to land the odds at Ascot after winning at Chepstow while Darlac only won a maiden at Fontwell, though did it very easily. Captain Peacock already looks exposed but Kapgarry is improving and Nestor Park had decent bumper form, though is thrown in at the deep end.
