In depth

Verdict

A terrific third in this year's Queen Mother Chase, Module struggled on his recent comeback and will do well to confirm February's running at Newbury with Dodging Bullets. The latter re-opposes on better terms today but was below par at Aintree in April when Uxizandre won a Grade 1 event over 2m4f. SIMPLY NED will not want to give the latter too much rope over today's shorter trip as he may prove difficult to peg back, but Nicky Richards' charge looks good enough to land this with last month's winning return at Kelso under his belt. Poole Master and Lancetto have plenty to find on today's terms and both face a tough task.
