There have only been two Irish-trained winners of this since 1967 and neither Milan Native nor Discordantly make much appeal this year on recent form. Pym and Ok Corral both represent the Henderson stable but the former has two ways of running and the latter is having a first run since January last year, though has placed at The Festival before. Admiral’s Secret is in the form of his life but there is a big question mark over his stamina while Cepage has yet to convince over this trip and was only seventh in this last year when 3lb lower in the weights, though still finished ahead of the 2019 runner-up Vintage Clouds. Aye Right has placed in the Charlie Hall, the Ladbrokes Trophy and the Sky Bet this season so deserves a change of luck but he is getting no respite from the handicapper, though appears to hold One For The Team on the form book. Alnadam could go well stepping up from 2m4f as he won over 3m between the flags but the vote goes to the progressive HAPPYGOLUCKY, who jumps well for a novice and has always run well here in the past.
