Verdict

David Pipe has had fancied runners in each of the previous three runnings of this conditionals' handicap and, for obvious reasons, would love the saddle the winner. However his four entries this year, I'msingingtheblues, Arab League, Dan Breen and Street Entertainer, all appear to have a bit to find at the weights though the latter has his favoured ground for the first time in a while. Connections of MOLOTOF were toying with the idea of running the five-year-old in one of the more valuable novice events at The Festival but have opted to target this instead. He tries 2m4f for the first time today but is as tough of as old boots and should relish the climb to the finish - Nicky Henderson's charge can defy his big weight and is preferred to stable companion Open Hearted. Changing Times has his first run for Nigel Twiston-Davies and may find the ground too fast but Empire Levant won't mind the going and has more scope than stablemate Like Minded while Rigidity has form in some hot handicaps. Grandads Horse came unstuck against Fingal Bay last time but wasn't beaten far and goes well fresh.
