Verdict

A cracking start to the day here with many in with chances but the principals look to be Reveillez, Cornish Sett and Turpin Green to name but three and the vote is given to Reveillez. The selection was a good hurdler at his best and although slightly disappointing over fences so far he won well last time out when beating Pardishar. Granted this is tougher but he remains on a fair mark and under conditions that suit he gets the confident vote. Cornish Sett rates the main danger as he dead heated with Hours last time out. He has plenty of ability and looks sure to have the race run to suit but he looks vulnerable to a better handicapped horse. Turpin Green would be a danger to all on his best form but he nearly refused and threw the race away when second behind Napolitain so can not be put forward with any confidence. Demi Beau won well last time when beating L'orient Express and is a good jumper who could run into a place. Celtic Son is another worthy of respect on his best form but he has not progressed as expected. However he could easily return to form. Of the remainder, Copsale Lad and Bold Bishop have conditions to suit and are others to consider but Reveillez looks well handicapped and will be hard to beat.
