In depth

Verdict

Tritonic’s win at Wincanton came over 2m and he is best at that trip. Crebilly was challenging eventual winner Ginny‘s Destiny in a handicap here last month when falling two out. He is 6lb better off today so should turn the tables with a clear round. Grey Dawning jumped well when beating Grade 1 winner Gaillard Du Mesnil at Haydock but was receiving 11lb. However, the third Apple Away bolted up at Leicester on Wednesday so Dan Skelton’s grey will make a bold bid to follow up here. TRELAWNE, 4-5 in career starts, has his ground again and looked a natural over fences at Carlisle so gets the nod.
