Verdict

Punters behind the curve are going to struggle to recoup losses in this new finale. The Gigginstown colours have been carried to victory in four of the last seven years, including the last two, and their DALLAS DES PICTONS is on a hat-trick and may well be capable of holding his own in better company in the future – Donal Meyler’s mount is preferred to Defi Bleu. If You Say Run is talented but a bit of a madam and 10lb higher than when last seen in a handicap but Pym could go well with Richard Patrick an interesting jockey booking for Nicky Henderson’s novice, though he is closely matched with Coolanly on their run together here in November. Le Musee rarely runs a bad race and wasn’t winning out of turn at Taunton last time, though that was over 3m. Doctor Dex is on an upward curve and makes his handicap debut, as does Clonmel winner Daybreak Boy who still has some potential.
