The day's feature can go to FROM DAWN TO DUSK, while Duc De Regniere and Kangaroo Court look dangers. The Philip Hobbs-trained selection carries a 5lb penalty for his defeat of Dom D'Orgeval at Aintree on Saturday and he has plenty going for him in his attempt to back it up. He loves to bounce off a sound surface, stays at least this far, and loves this track, so we are not about to desert him now. Kangaroo Court has earned four of his five career wins over a similar trip to this, one of which came at this track. The going will suit Emma Lavelle's charge and he is much respected with a feather weight to shoulder. Although Duc De Regniere has won on the ground and represents a stable going supremely well, he has not shown his best in two previous attempts here and appears to be best at his beloved Kempton. Voy Por Estedes was still good enough to win the Grade 1 Melling Chase at Aintree this time last year, but he has not managed to add to that success in four starts this season. He drops into a handicap for the first time in his entire chasing career and can't be ruled out off his mark of 163, though it would have been good to see him come here in better form. One who is in good heart is From Dawn To Dusk and he gets the vote.
