Verdict

BOOMSHAKALAKA is the selection with Something Wells and Tramantano as the dangers. Nicky Henderson has been the man to follow on Saturdays and while punters suffered a reverse with the eight-year-old at Kempton, he probably travelled a little too keenly in the early stages and if Barry Geraghty can get him settled, the result may be very different. Something Wells was ahead of Tidal Fury when they met at Haydock. His conditional's 3lb claim will prove invaluable at this level. Tramantano never got a challenge on Patman du Charmil last month. He is respected on his previous course form. Warpath and Dev are fair sorts when tried in their appropriate grade but there will be no hiding place here. Boomshakalaka gets the vote.
