In depth

Verdict

Bonttay is probably the form pick having won a decent contest here last month but she will not find it easy to complete the hat-trick. Lady Excalibur could figure if handling the slightly easier surface while Wheres Maud Gone and Code Name Lise have the past form to figure. WHISKY EXPRESS ran green at Taunton in March so did well to get the better of the more-experienced The Kicking Queen. Her stable has won this a couple of times and she could be a nice mare in the making. Martha Willow gave weight and a beating to subsequent winner Fire Lake at Ludlow last month so can’t be ignored while Betty's Belle did nothing wrong at Warwick in September.
