Great Mates won a couple of minor events in the summer and started favourite for a handicap here in October but never got involved. Stablemate King's Legacy ran well behind Grands Crus and For Non Stop here in November but made an early error that put him out of contention over three miles on a return visit in January. My Shamwari scored at Ffos Las last month despite several errors and must jump better if he's to land this stronger race, while Jack Black Blues is 10lb higher than for his latest success at Ffos Las in October. Tasheba is quite well handicapped and it would be no great surprise to see him bounce back while Havingotascoobydo is in such good form that he looks certain to be competitive. In an open contest KAUTO RELKO, a very good fifth in the Martin Pipe at The Festival, is taken to continue his good progress and gain his first success for Rachel Hobbs after arriving from Ireland.
