Verdict

None of the Mullins’ trio have proved themselves at this level but they still have time of their side. Latest Exhibition beat Cobbler's Way and Fury Road in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown and it’s hard to see that form being reversed over this longer trip. Ramses De Teillee has taken a sabbatical from his chasing career this season to win three times over hurdles, including two Grade 2 contests, but both he and the handicapper The Cashel Man are already eight and this is normally won by a younger novice. Harry Senior is having a first run over 3m but did land a Grade 2 over 2m4f here in January. THYME HILL was third behind Wednesday’s impressive Ballymore winner Envoi Allen in last year’s Champion Bumper with the Supreme Novices’ runner-up Abracadabras back in fourth. He, too, is unbeaten over timber this season, winning the Challow at Newbury ahead of The Cashel Man when last seen. He’s looked a natural from the outset and it’s doubtful the extra 3f will cause him too many problems.
