Verdict

Jamie Codd is on last year's Pertemps third Jury Duty, who has been in fine form since turning to fences winning a Punchestown Grade 2 and only just beaten at the highest level at Leopardstown. Lisa O'Neill is on board stablemate Mossback and her mount has looked an out-and-out stayer in his races but, with the ground liked to be testing, the 7lb MS PARFOIS (NAP) receives could be a major factor. Will Biddick’s mount has winning form at the track and there’s every chance she’ll be suited by this marathon trip. She lost nothing in defeat against Black Corton last time on a track that would not have played to her strengths. Philip Hobbs has snapped up Derek O’Connor to ride No Comment, who has any amount of scope over fences having not made his debut over the larger obstacles until last month. Duel At Dawn and Shades Of Midnight look likely to enjoy a test of this sort and Rathvinden could also figure if putting in a clear round as he was only beaten a couple of lengths in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse in December. Keeper Hill looks the pick of the remainder.
