Verdict

Collectors Item was beaten half-a-length by Weveallbeencaught in a Newbury bumper last season but beat a subsequent winner on his hurdles bow at Chepstow. Quid Pro Quo was fancied for a Grade 2 at Chepstow five weeks ago but could only finish fourth and Music Drive was only third when favourite here last month having earlier won a Galway maiden. Hubrisko was the stable second string when third in a Grade 3 at Tipperary and he lacks the scope of HERMES ALLEN, who won in a canter on his debut under Rules at Stratford and could be anything. Getaway Drumlee also landed the odds on his hurdling debut so can’t be ignored.
