Modus beat Flamenco Lad at Exeter more easily than Adeupas D'ycy did later and looks a nice prospect for Robert Stephens. But we're loathe to desert COYABA, who was always going well at Towcester when following up his debut victory at Ffos Las. That run just about gives him the edge over Carlisle winner Hurricane Hollow and though this is another step up in class he may be up to the task. Lady Buttons won at Wetherby, despite running green, and may be the pick of the remainder though a market move for any of the four nicely-bred newcomers would be significant.
