A competitive bumper rounds off the card at Cheltenham and as usual in these races the market will be all important. However the principals look to be Ambition Royal Locksmith and Into The Shadows and we will side with Ambition Royal. The gelding hails from a yard that has a good record at this track in bumpers and he won well on his debut when defeating Golden Measure despite running green. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Locksmith rates the main danger he won well on his debut than was a fair fourth behind Baby Run last time. Again there should be little between those rivals as they are much closely matched this time. Into The Shadows has been second twice in this sphere, he was second behind Oscars Vision last time and again has place claims. Scaramouche is also worthy of respect he won well on his debut and is another that is sure to improve so he could run well at a big price. Of the remainder Secret Ply is from a mainly flat yard and won well on his debut when defeating Into The Shadows and this gelding by deploy is sure to go well if he stays this longer trip but in a tight affair we will side with Ambition Royal.
