In depth
Verdict
Rated 73, Extrodinair sets the standard but disappointed at Newcastle last time having finished just ahead of IT HAD TO BE YOU when runner-up over track and trip before that. But the latter was making his racecourse debut on that occasion and normal progress should see William Haggas’ Frankel colt reverse running in this. Bescaby and Berties Mission have shown little so far while Marmalade Day was a cheap purchase considering she’s related to a host of winners and fellow newcomer Engrave, a E180,000 yearling, makes more appeal.
