      Verdict

      DANZAN is penalised for last year’s success at Pontefract but has placed in much better company subsequently including a recent second in a conditions' race at Kempton. He’ll take the beating off a mark of 105 and one of the newcomers will need to be above average despite receiving weight. Of those, Regina Nostra makes most appeal as a sister to a couple of winners and a half-sister to others while Furze Lady is related to the smart sprinter Hoofalong.
