Cuban Spirit is the only one with recent winning form having scored at Lingfield earlier in the month though third-placed SUPERSEDED (NAP) is weighted to turn the tables. The latter was winning off an 11lb higher mark last summer and John Butler’s charge can get his head back in front here. Spenny's Lass went close in Class 7 company here last time but has just the one win in 35 attempts while Guardia Svizzera won over 6f when last at this venue in November and finished in front of Murqaab when runner-up at Wolverhampton subsequently. Jorvik Prince has switched to Mick Appleby’s yard and it won’t be long before we see improvement from him.
