Flying Standard won very easily at Wolverhampton and though up 8lbs looks certain to make a bold bid. Bird To Love has never won over this far but wasn't stopping when scoring over 1m4f at Lingfield while Pax Britannica was having only her eighth start when scoring over 1m4f at Wolverhampton and looks likely to make progress. CALVINIST followed a victory over hurdles at Hexham with a battling performance at Newcastle. He's up 2lb but the trip won't be a problem and he can follow up. The veteran Wildomar arrives in top form and is still on a winnable mark despite his six all-weather victories while Arietta looked a certain winner when sent well clear when tackling 2m at Wolverhampton but was caught in the closing stages.
