        Verdict

        Valley Belle and Poppy May are both previous course and distance winners. The latter is preferred of that pair today but BADGER BERRY may be worth another try on this surface over this trip as he showed improved form at Southwell over 6f in the spring. Pull Harder Con was on a four-timer on Turf at Yarmouth on Tuesday but couldn’t cope with another 4lb rise and races off the same mark here. Toolatetodelegate is usually thereabouts in this grade while Pushkin Museum should be approaching peak fitness.
