        Verdict

        Cahors made a winning start in handicaps when scoring over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton. Lady Quickstep also ran over 5f at Wolverhampton last time when finishing runner-up while Silent Queen’s earlier success at Southwell came over the same distance. But another chance goes to PORTUGUESEPRINCESS, who was giving weight to the winner, rated 81, when third in a claimer at Lingfield and won her maiden last year over today’s trip. Company Minx has switched yards since last in action and is not badly handicapped on her return.
