    The Vegas Raider failed to cope with an 8lb rise at Musselburgh when bidding for a hat-trick while Heath Rise completed a double with last week’s course and distance success in a lower grade contest. Amalfi Bay went close at Sandown when last over today’s trip and Countessa has been winning over 1m4f but a chance is taken that MUSHIRIF improves for the longer trip fitted with headgear today on the back of several placed efforts. Charging Thunder was due to run at Haydock yesterday.
