Verdict

Like so many representing his yard, OXFORD BLU (NAP) improved for the step up to middle-distances at Newcastle last time when scoring over today’s trip by three lengths. Sir Mark Prescott’s charge can defy a penalty in this. All of the remainder attempt 1m2f for the first time today with Fancy Day finishing runner-up over a mile at Newcastle recently and Reynardo De Silver going close over the same distance here just three days ago. Areyoutheway has won a seller over 7f while Peace And Plenty and Gog Elles are having only their second starts in handicaps.
