        Verdict

        Navajo Star is usually in the mix over 2m on the all-weather and finished second again at Kempton last time. Whinging Willie wasn’t beaten far on his only previous start over today’s trip while Oxford Blu has been hurdling since winning on the Flat at Chepstow in 2017 but is 6lb higher for this. Mundersfield could figure if lasting home though it’s a big step up from 1m2f and it could pay to stick with COLWOOD. A winner over 2m2f at Southwell last month on only his second start for Robert Eddery, he also scored on the all-weather over today’s distance when trained in France.
