          Verdict

          Excellent George won over 6f here earlier while Shanghai Rock scored over track and trip before well beaten behind stablemate and runner-up COMETH THE MAN. The latter has yet to win but can race off the same mark today and improve further on only his third outing for Bob Cowell’s yard. Toplight is preferred to Lethal Angel over today’s minimum trip and Hope Springs has more scope than most.
