      Annafel was beaten only a short-head at Wolverhampton on his latest start and should have the measure of the others with experience on that showing. Namrud and Pagliacci are the most likely improvers of the rest but QAZAQ may prove an above average newcomer. The 300,000gns purchase is the first foal of a Group 3 winner and an early entry in next year’s Irish 2000 Guineas.
