John Berry and Nicola Currie teamed up to land a nice prize at Doncaster last weekend and are in harness again here with SUSSEX GIRL. The Compton Place filly is not really bred for this trip but she was doing her best work at the finish over a mile at Thirsk last time and has been dropped a couple of pounds since. Fantasy Gladiator was winning for the first time in two years here earlier this month but is still well treated, despite a 3lb rise. Outlaw Torn pops up occasionally in this grade so warrants respect while Arcadian Sea and Avocet are also likely to be thereabouts. Diptych is making a belated reappearance and showed little last year but starts off in handicaps on a very low mark and is open to any amount of improvement.
