Verdict

A €380,000 purchase, Lord Tennyson has already been gelded. It could be significant that the four-year-old has been kept in training but John Gosden’s charge is conceding plenty of weight to the younger horses including SHINE ON BRENDAN. The latter ran well for third in a handicap at Kempton last time giving the impression this extra furlong would suit and he makes more appeal than another likely improver in El Salvaje. Pledge Of Honour has placed in both starts to date though is another older horse giving away plenty of weight.
