The three-year-old HOMESICK BOY (NAP) was tackling this trip for the first time when scoring with something to spare here last month and though an 8lb rise makes this tougher the opposition looks very moderate. Third-place Ignatius was beaten 5l though is 9lb better off so should get closer but Carvelas, who has won three times around here, was beaten 10l and never looked like winning. Affluence completed a double over shorter trips in July, both on fast going, but has won on Polytrack at Lingfield while Que Quieres was having only his fourth start when runner-up over 2m here but never got close enough to mount a challenge. Olaf won a 1m1f claimer at Lingfield in August and changed stables but hasn't shown much for new connections and steps up markedly in trip.
