Verdict

Manton Warrior was beaten off today’s mark at Kempton last week having won a lower grade race over track and trip earlier. Conkering Hero scored over a slightly shorter distance here a week ago and is penalised 5lb though the progressive Tavus is preferred to both of the above bidding for a hat-trick having won over today’s trip at Ffos Las. But the latter is upped in class off a higher mark for this and it could pay to stick with EL BORRACHO, raised only 3lb for winning a higher grade contest under today’s apprentice over course and distance three weeks ago.
