Verdict

Scarborough Castle is having a first run since April and seems best on Tapeta while last week’s Wolverhampton winner City Escape is a specialist at that track. Eltham Palace was a bit disappointing at Lingfield after winning here last month while Engrave’s recent second here came in an amateurs’ race. Kardinya was second over a mile at Southwell on Tuesday having filled the same position over course and distance the time before but he has to give a pound to the fast-improving MEASURED MOMENTS, who can complete the hat-trick.
