        Verdict

        Gilgamesh is unbeaten in three starts this year but his latest success came at Redcar back in May. CLIFFS OF CAPRI has the more recent form with last month’s comeback win at Kempton and he gets the nod to show further progress today having changed yards subsequently. Alfred Hutchinson is capable off his current mark and finished in front of both Shyron and Highland Acclaim when fourth at Lingfield last time while Pearl Spectre was ahead of Hammer Gun when scoring over track and trip last week but carries a penalty. Golden Goal has won three times at this venue and is not out of this either having faced a tough task at Ascot last time.
