        ALAFDHAL went close when third behind Lihou at Lingfield and a line through the latter gives him the beating of Southwell runner-up Dalby Forest. Angle Land missed out on a hat-trick when second at Southwell and is upped in class while Crimson Sand will be sharper for a recent comeback run and is preferred to Papa Don't Preach.
