      Verdict

      Steady Major has every chance on today's terms but drops down in distance after a third at Windsor over 1m2f. MARMALAD is preferred as he won a claimer at Lingfield by five lengths before running well again in a handicap and is weighted to beat both Courier and Brasted. The former was below par at Kempton last time but the latter wasn't beaten far at Lingfield and could be thereabouts. The remainder are harder to fancy including course and distance winner Glorious Dancer, who is back on a winning mark but arrives badly out of form.
